Coloring Down the Lines - Spring Flower Patch

Welcome back to our Coloring Down the Lines blog again this week.  I just can't get enough Spring - can you?  I like to take advantage of every Spring day we have - the sun, the warm Spring air, the smell of flowers all about, and beautiful, crisp blue skies.

This week, we're short a few of our regulars.  Sadly, we miss what they create for us, but we know they are watching and will be back soon.  So hopefully, you got here from Amanda's blog.  It's always fun linking up so all you have to do is "click".  And after here, please hop on over to Liz's blog - I'm sure she'll be waiting for you.

Here is the inspirational photograph and color pallet we used for this week's challenge.  At first I wasn't sure of the colors, but once I started, there was no stopping.

Can you just see the light blue sky in the background of the photograph, and the sun must be shining directly on the flowers.  It's such a pretty scene.  I wanted to create something similar, but mine came out just as pretty and happy, I might add.  Here it is:

Recipe
Paper:  old olive, blackberry bliss, whisper white, crisp cantaloupe
Ink:  melon mambo, crisp cantaloupe, old olive, blackberry bliss, pool party, pistachio pudding
Stamp Sets:  flower patch, crazy about you
Accessories:  basic pearls

Just a little bit of Spring, that's what this card brings.  I hope you like it.  Until next time, Happy Spring!

  2. Great way to use all of the colors - I'm trying to hold off getting this set, but I was playing with Sandy's at our craft day last week - and your card makes me really want to order it!
