Hearts a Flutter

I love the new "hearts a flutter" stamp and framelits from Stampin Up.  Actually, I love everything in the Spring Catalog.  Just wait till you see all the cool stuff.  You're going to want it ALL.  And ... I can help you with that!

I made a card using the "hearts a flutter" stamp set and a patterned paper from the comfort cafe dsp.  I'm still waiting for my 3rd shipment of goodies from SU, one of which has the new dsp.  Anyway, I rather liked the way this one turned out.  Here's what I designed:

So what do you think?  Cute, huh?  I have a whole lot of ideas flowing through my brain using some of the new stamp sets.  Stay tuned.

In addition, I thought I would post a heart ornament that I made last year. I used Cherry Cobbler and Real Red card stock, along with finial press, perfect polka dots, and petals a plenty embossing folders, then finished it off with red satin ribbon and basic pearl in the middle.  Take a peek:

Well, until tomorrow, may your creations flow easy and have fun every step of the way!

Happy New Year all of you crafters!

  1. Love this card Helen!!! Hope it's ok to CASE!!! lol Happy New Year!!!!

  2. Oh yes. Please feel free to CASE anything you like. Thank you Carol & Joni for your sweet comments. Happy New Year my peeps!!!

  3. Beautiful card, Helen. I hope it's ok to CASE at least part of this one -- love it. I am using this set in my stamp-a-stack and I like your idea of layering hearts on top the tag and that pretty border piece. Happy New Year to you!

  4. Sandy, you're always so sweet. I'm so glad you liked my card. I'm honored that you're using part of my layout for your stamp-a-stack. You'll have to let me see them ... I'm sure they'll be adorable! Happy New Year, Sandy. It's good to be back, isn't it?

  5. Your card is beautiful - I think the Comfort Cafe DSP is a perfect background. I wasn't going to get this stamp set/bundle but may have to rethink it now! TFS
