Coloring Down the Lines - Fall Has Arrived!

Fall has arrived, and so far, it's been nice. The leaves are just starting to turn, and the air is slightly crisp, and I'm just waiting for the sweet smell of burning leaves and fireplace going ... ah,what could be better?

This week's color challenge falls in line with "Fall". So I thought I would make a Fall card using the colors selected for the week. If you arrived here from Amanda's blog, don't forget to fall right on over to Joni's blog to see what she's created as well.

Let's start with the photograph and color pallet. The colors go together and blend nicely.

Here is the card I made using all the colors in the pallet above:

The background is stamped directly on to the embossing folder using smoky slate, and the trees are slightly sponged using crumb cake. I used "Vintage Leaves" stamp set, along with Acorny Thank You for the leaf and and acorn. I also used "Lots of Labels" framelits for the sentiment for a little added touch to the card.
