Coloring Down the Lines - Shades of Red

This week's blog hop is using shades of red. Now I have to say, this one was a bit tough for me. I struggled a bit and trying to figure out which red to use for what didn't come easy.

If you've arrived here from Amanda's blog, then you saw how she interprets shades of red. I sure wish I could do it better, but it's not my thing. Also, Joni always has some great ideas and never disappoints. So don't forget to hop on to her blog next.

Here's what I created this week. It's not bad, but not my best work. I know .. I shouldn't be hard on myself, but it is what it is.

Here you go ...

The stamp sets I used for this challenge were first sight and petite petals. I used basic pearls for the center of the flowers and added cherry cobbler bakers twine to jazz it up.  If you're wondering which shades of red I used, I used melon mambo (yes, it's a little bit pink, but in the red family), cherry cobbler, and real red.

Well, that's it for today. See you again soon.
