I can't believe it's the end of September. Where did the entire month go? Next up, gearing up for Fall. I love the Fall. I love the colors of Autumn, the smell of the crisp air, the beautiful blue skies, and the long-awaited harvest moons.
When I think of Fall, I think of fallen leaves, apples, baskets, decorations, and the like. We had a nice photo to use for inspiration this week, and I'll share that with you right now.
The photo is soft and subtle with the sun gently kissing the green grass. Don't you just want to take a stroll through the grass and grab and apple or two to munch on? Oh yes, I would.
Well, I decided to use a basket in my card this week. Here's what I've created for you:
The stamps I used here are basket of cheer, and thoughtful branches. Just a little color for the sky and grass, and that's it.
If you've arrived here from Robbie's blog, you started at the right place. Next up is Joni, and I'm sure there's another treat waiting ahead.
Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for next month's theme. I think you'll like it.

A Haunted Halloween
I guess you know by now I like Fall and Halloween, almost as much as I love Christmas. So I thought I would share with you a card I made for my library class this past week. It is my favorite one of the three, and believe it or not, it's a "flat" card. Yep, "flat". I did not make the card dimensional, nor did I embellish it whatsoever. As you can see, it didn't need anything. I love it!
I hope you are creating some halloween happiness .. I'd love to see what you have to share. I'm sure I'll be making a few more cards before the end of the month, so keep on checking back.
Have a wonderful tomorrow!

Pumpkins Down the Lane
I just can't get enough of Fall, and I saw this card on Pinterest and knew I wanted to make it. I've altered mine a bit, adding more pumpkins, and shading the sky slightly with marina mist to give it a nice touch for the Fall sky.
Here's the card I made - and although you can't see it well in the photograph, I've added some wink of stella to the pumpkins. Oh la la
I've also added some grass as well and used another sentiment. I like the way mine turned out, and it just makes me want to stroll down the lane by the fence, taking in all the Fall leaves.
Now on to the next card ...

Crazy About Paisley
I've been playing in my stamp room these past few days, and wanted to share some of my creations with you.
One of the new stamp sets I've been wanting to use is Paisleys and Posies. I created this card in no time, using the pretty matching paisley dsp. A touch of copper foil from the matching framelit finished off the card.
Here's what I've created:

The mint macaron and night of navy looks great together. They are very much Fall-like, so I know I'll be making some more cards with this stamp set and awesome colors.
Keep on checking my blog - I'll have some really nice shoebox swaps to share with you from our Sparkling Diva's team meeting this past weekend.
Ciao for now.

Coloring Down the Lines - Flourishing Pumpkin
Fall is such a beautiful time of year. The colors are so vibrant, and the Fall skies are so blue and bright, that it's hard not to be happy.
In keeping with our Fall theme for this month, I've made a card for you, highlighting the colors of the Season.
Here's the inspirational photograph we used this week:
Although I didn't create a "project", I've designed a card for you instead. I used the flourishing phrases stamp set, along with jar of haunts for a pretty card. Hope you like it.
I used the copper embossing powder for the flourishes, and used the framelits for the flowers. It's much prettier in person.
Hop one step back to check out the start of the blog, if you haven't started there first. Robbie always has something different and fun to share. Hop one step forward, and Joni has a treat for you too. Keep on hopping till you're all the way through. You'll be happy you did.
Thanks for stopping by this week.

Coloring Down the Lines - Colors of Fall
Welcome back this week to our blog hop. We decided to change things up a bit and we are trying a "theme" challenge. It is a nice change up, and I'll show you what we used for our inspiration.
Now this didn't seem to hard to replicate, especially since we have some nice new stamp sets from our holiday catalog that we can use. I'm also very fond of fall colors, so this was easy.
I decided to use the "basket of wishes" and "thoughtful branches" stamp sets for my card this week. Check it out:
The background card stock is chocolate chip, and I used the square framelits for the trim around the picture. The basket was colored with soft suede, and highlighted with chocolate chip.
Now let's check out the other cards our other artists created for you. Next up is Joni over at 'joniinthespotlightstamping". Keep on hopping around, if you've started here, and you'll end up at Robbie's blog, "inkedx2," were it all began.
Thanks again for checking us out. Keep coming back .. we'll have lots to share with the holiday season approaching.
Happy Stamping!

Coloring Down the Lines - Playing with Shades of Blue
Welcome back to this week's blog hop. We had a little bit of a break with the Labor Day holiday, but now we're back to having fun!
This week's challenge is playing with shades of blue. There's a lot you can do with blues, however, blues usually seem cold to me, so therefore, I decided to go with that thought.
Here are the colors we used for our inspiration this week:

So viewing these colors, what would you choose to make with them? Would you have gone with the "cool" theme, or something different?
Well, here's my creation for you using these colors above:
It felt a little weird, as this card is simply flat with no dimension. I'm not used to making a card without dimension, but this one didn't need it at all.
The stamp sets I used for the card are: christmas pines, be jolly, by golly, and totally trees, all from our new holiday catalog. WOW, there are some really, really beautiful stamp sets and projects in the holiday catty this year. Check it out if you haven't already.
Ok, now on to Joni's blog to check out what she did using the blues theme. Also, if you didn't start at Robbie's blog, don't forget to hop backward and check hers out too. By jolly, don't miss any one of this week's submissions.
Happy stamping!
